Oregonians for Alternatives to the Death Penalty (OADP) is sponsoring an event on June 8 in Portland. The featured speaker will be Illinois Rep. Karen Yarbrough , sponsor of that state’s successful legislation to abolish the death penalty. The event, called New Day, will be held in Portland at 7:30 pm. Read the New Day press release now for more details.
