2026 Annual Meeting

Last month our MFSA chapter held its Annual Meeting and Fall Event: It Starts With ME: Forming a Community that Listens and Supports. We heard an update on the national MFSA Racial Audit and the work that is being done to implement the audit. We invited four people who are part of different communities to come and share their experiences of allyship. Although we were a smaller group than we had hoped could gather, we had a great discussion about allyship and what it means to support different people at different times and places.

If you were unable to attend, we did have permission from our panelists to record their presentation. You can request a copy of the presentation by clicking this email link. We are choosing not to post it openly to honor the trust of our panelists speaking about very sensitive issues in their lives. You can also view or download the slides of the racial audit presentation. More information on the racial audit implementation can be found at mfsaweb.org.
